Tracer kit

An oscillator and a handheld tone tracer probe used to identify the correct pair of signal wires to be worked on in multi pair cable environments. The oscillator generates the signal which is received by the tone tracer and can also be used in isolation to check for continuity and correct polarity. The tone tracer, an inductive receiver, emits its locator tone when it is in the proximity of the wire. Sensitivity adjustment allows precise location of the wire pair. Supplied with a stitched nylon carry bag.

Test adapters

Break out test adapters for line testing of any plug / jack combination when no access to bare copper is available. Individual conductors are broken out by pin number through the adapter to six or eight separate phosphor-bronze pads housed in a plastic body.
